Delivery & Returns


Dovetail Living is based in Hong Kong but ships internationally.  


If all items in an order are in stock, local delivery will be made the next working day. A delivery charge of $100 applies to all orders less than $1,500 with any order above this amount delivered free.

If an item is not in stock, the approximate date for delivery will be stated on the product page. We will keep you updated on the progress of your order and email you once it has arrived to organise a suitable time and date for delivery.

Larger furniture items may carry additional delivery charges but customers will be informed of these following their order confirmation. These charges will not exceed $500 per order providing that delivery can be made within a reasonable distance of the building and without using stairs. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is adequate access for larger furniture items to be delivered.

An order made up of both in stock products and items available to pre-order will have all available items delivered the next working day and pre-ordered items delivered as soon as they are available.


We have partnered with FedEx in order to provide express shipping to any location worldwide. The shipping cost is calculated using the overall weight and volume of the order with delivery made by courier.  If you are unable to select delivery to your location at the checkout please contact us at sales@dovetail-living.com with a screenshot of your basket or a list of the products you would like to purchase and we will provide you with a cost for international shipping in under 24 hours. 


Within Hong Kong, any products that are damaged during delivery will be replaced or refunded by request. Simply send an email to sales@dovetail-living.com and on acceptance of the return request, your order will be picked-up from your delivery address and a replacement provided or credit note issued for the total cost of the items returned.

Large furniture items will only be refunded if already damaged when delivered and if this is signaled by the customer by NOT accepting the delivery.

International orders that are damaged during delivery will be replaced or refunded by request. For orders delivered by FedEx and large furniture items, it is necessary to signal the products are damaged by NOT accepting the delivery for them to be replaced or refunded. For orders delivered by international post, please send an email to sales@dovetail-living.com with a photo of the damaged product.  The damaged item will need to be posted in its original packaging to Dovetail Living in order to receive a replacement or refund.
